Dey elected president of GRFU

Former national winger, Ryan Dey, was elected  president of the Guyana Rugby Football Union (GRFU) when the body held its Annual General Meeting recently.

During the meeting held at the National Racquet, Dey narrowly defeated Earl Edghill for the top post.

Former President, Peter Green did not seek re-election. On  becoming the head of the union, Dey,  thanked Green for the hard work he has done over the years and noted that his major goal is to elevate the standard of rugby in Guyana.

Below are the names of the new executive body and committee members that will lead the union for the next two years.

Public Relations Officer – Godfrey Broomes

Secretary – Terrence Grant

Treasurer – Quacy Bremner

Assistant Secretary Treasurer – Tiffany Spencer

Natasha Andrews – Committee Member

Sherlock Sam – Committee Member

Shane Grant-Stuart – Committee Member
