As customary, the Kennard Memorial Turf Club (KMTC) will kick off its calendar of activities with the traditional Post Phagwah horse race meet.
The six-race card is scheduled to run off on March 29 at the Kennard Memorial Turf Club.
In excess of $3M in cash and trophies will be on offer.
The feature event is for horses classified C and Lower galloping for a mile for the grand prize of $600,000.
Other races on the card will cater for Three-Year Old Guyana bred steeds, J 3 and Lower, K Non Winner and L Open, L Non Earner and H3-Winner of One Race and Guyana Bred Open
The champion jockey, trainer and stables will all receive trophies compliments of Ramesh Sunich of the Trophy Stall.
