The police have launched a probe into the shooting death of a Wismar, Linden man last evening.
The dead man was identified as Glenroy Chapman. Some reports reaching Stabroek News indicate that the man was shot in the presence of one of his children.
The incident reportedly occurred at around 7.30 pm. Regional Divisional Commander, Hugh Winter confirmed that an investigation has been launched but could not provide any further details at the time as police ranks were still on the scene.
