GCA conducting virtual sessions

The Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) has taken to the virtual platform Zoom to implement virtual cricket development sessions for its cricketers in Georgetown during the current lockdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic. 

The Association in a recent release indicated that three sessions have already been concluded, the last one being completed on Saturday 9th May. 

The sessions are done on Wednesdays and Saturdays in the evenings from 7 pm to 9 pm. The program operator is president of the association Roger Harper while Mark Harper functions in the capacity of chairman.

 The first session focused on batting; under the theme “Playing yourself in” and was conducted by Clyde Butts, Roger Harper, Mark Harper, and Clayton Lambert. 

Reon King, Jermaine Neblett, and Garfield Charles headlined the second session, dedicated to fast bowlers while the third session once again focused on the batters. National players Leon Johnson, Christopher Barnwell, and Tevin Imlach were on hand to give inputs.
