Senior citizens inconvenienced on this part of seawall

Dear Editor,

I am a senior citizen in my 80th year and for the past 54 years I have been visiting the Georgetown seawall on a regular basis to refresh, relax and recap enjoying the fresh air.  I am now forced to write the following.

The seawall (the broad wall) by the western entrance via the steps  is no more a place to go and relax, it is getting lawless in the sense that  as you enter  via the steps  you are bombarded with trampolines, vendors and loud, loud music,

You cannot any longer sit and enjoy the fresh air like years ago, the vendors are using the seawall benches to put their goods.

My suggestion to correct this lawless situation is a simple one, all trampolines, vendors, music stalls   etc, etc,   must be moved to a westerly position going towards the round house. There are  lots of spaces there, this will  give us senior citizens the entire front  free  from any encumbrances in order for us to sit, relax, refresh  etc, since as mentioned above the  vendors are using the seawall benches to put their goods so some of us are taking our chairs with us in order to sit.

Editor I do hope  that something could be done very quickly so myself and others   can once again enjoy the beauty of the Georgetown seawall.

Yours faithfully,
