AAG to stage South American 10K December 6

It is official, the Athletics Association of Guyana (AAG) will host the 18th edition of the South American 10km road race on December 6.

This is according to a release sent out by the association recently.

In the release, it states that the event will be staged from 14:00hrs at West Demerara. 

The annual fixture, which traditionally starts on the streets of the city and finishes in the National Park, will commence at Mary on the West Coast of Demerara and conclude at the finish line of the National Track and Field Centre.

President of the AAG, Aubrey Hutson disclosed that he expects the nation’s best road runners to battle on the West side come December 6.

Jonathan Fagundes, Ronell Newton, Jonathan Fordyce, Cleveland Forde, Winston Missigher and Cleveland Thomas will be the front runners vying for spots on the podium.
