Bandits rob Christianburg Secondary teacher of motorcycle

A Christianburg Secondary school teacher was on Tuesday robbed at gunpoint of his motorcycle by two masked men.

The teacher, 43-year-old Fidel Alleyne, was riding along Tank Street, Wisroc Housing Scheme, Linden on his way home when a man wearing a mask, dark short pants and light coloured t-shirt, emerged from the bushes pointing a gun at him before kicking him off of his black XR motorcycle said to be valued at $425,000.

The suspect then went over to where Alleyne had fallen and brandishing his gun, threatened to kill him. At this point a second masked suspect emerged from the bushes also, and picked up the victim’s motorcycle which he and the first suspect mounted before speeding away in the southern direction.

Police investigations continue.
