A man was on Thursday charged with attempted murder after the wounding of another man.
Feroze Mohammed, also known as ‘Shrimps,’ 23, of La Grange Old Road, West Bank Demerara, appeared before Principal Magistrate Faith Mc Gusty at the Wales Magistrate’s Court. Mohammed was arrested on December 8th. It is alleged that he tried to kill Hamas Wahad, a 34-year-old painter of La Grange Old Road, West Bank Demerara.
He was not required to plead to the indictable charge and was remanded to prison until December 30th, for report and fixture.
