A Lindener was on Tuesday fined $10,000 after pleading guilty to using abusive language toward a woman.
Michelle Daniels, 47, of Wisroc Housing Scheme, Linden, was before Magistrate Wanda Fortune at the Linden Magistrate Court when she admitted that she used abusive language toward another.
The charge stated that on January 1, 2020, she used abusive language toward Holly Washington.
After pleading guilty to the charge, Daniels was fined $10,000 or two weeks’ imprisonment. She was also bonded to keep the peace for one year and if she breaches the order she will be sentenced to three months’ imprisonment.
