Victoria Scorpions receive football gear from AFC Wimbledon Academy

Michael Hamilton of England’s AFC Wimbledon Academy and Roger Isaacs, in conjunction with the 2020 Project, recently presented a quanitity of football clothing to the Victoria Scorpions Football Club.

The equipment presented included complete team uniforms to  the emerging East Coast Demerara football club.

The club, which was formed in 2015 and has a combined senior and junior roster of 40 players, welcomed the timely donation.

Presenting the equipment on behalf of both individuals to players and club executives was Isaacs and present at the handing over ceremony were players and executive members of the club.

Club captain Ahmad parks, thanked the donors for the assistance and pleadged that the gear will be utilized fully for the development of the players.
