One person was taken into custody after ranks of the Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU) unearthed 294 grams of cocaine concealed in a box at DHL Express, Alberttown, Georgetown
Stabroek News was informed that ranks acting on information received, conducted a search at the Fifth Street, Alberttown, Georgetown property during which they discovered a multi-coloured floral box. The cocaine was found in a false wall at the bottom of the box.
An investigation is ongoing.
