The Guyana Boxing Association (GBA) has nominated Terrence Poole (M.S) and Sebert Blake to be considered for membership of the AIBA Coaches Committee.
Poole, the GBA Technical Director and Blake, the Chairman of the GBA Coaches Commission, were selected from a group of local coaches.
The two holders of AIBA Three Star certificates, are a part of a handful of Regional officials to have made that grade.
GBA president, Steve Ninvalle disclosed that both locals, stood a very good chance of making it onto the committee.
“Even though they are in competition with persons from over 150 countries, I am confident that they can be successful,” Ninvalle said.
