COVID deaths rise to 210, 84 new cases recorded

Another COVID-19 fatality was yesterday recorded, which increased the country’s total number of deaths to 210. 

The latest casualty was identified as a 42-year-old man from Region Three. 

Meanwhile, some 84 new cases of the virus were recorded which increased the total number of confirmed cases to 9,322. The cases came after some 881 more persons were tested. As a result the total number of persons tested so far in the country now stands at 78,308. 

There are now 725 active cases in the country, 41 of whom are in institutional isolation while another 684 are in home isolation. Seven persons remain in the country’s COVID-19 intensive care unit.
