BMC suspends tournament due to COVID spike

The Big Man Cricket (BMC) organization yesterday suspended their ongoing tournament in light of the rising COVID-19 cases locally.

The 2021 Banks Beer/Maximum Vodka Over-45 T25 tournament has already completed three rounds with eight teams from across the country vying for supremacy.

According to a statement from the group, “BMC is forced to suspend all cricket until this COVID issue improves. In addition, the weather has not yet improved either.

“An evaluation of the Covid-19 situation will be made later and a resumption date will be announced.”
