A gold miner has been released on $30,000 bail after being charged with two counts of unlawful wounding.
Joshua George, 26, called ‘Baby,’ of Lot 32 Block 22 Wismar, Linden, appeared before Magistrate Wanda Fortune at the Linden Magistrate’s Court, via Zoom and pleaded not guilty to the two charges.
It is alleged that on March 27, at Block 22 Wismar, Linden, he unlawfully wounded Selwyn Cumberbatch and Terrence Collins.
Magistrate Fortune granted him $30,000 bail for the charge involving Cumberbatch and he was placed on self-bail for the charge related to Collins. The matters were adjourned until April 30.
