On behalf of the Berbice Cricket Board (BCB), I would like to express our profound sympathies to the family and friends of the late Seelochan Singh. Well known as ‘Bungar,’ he enjoyed legendary status across the county as an outstanding groundsman who prepared very good pitches. As Chairman of the BCB Special Events committee, I had the honour to give him the Tribute to Heroes Award. The BCB salutes this hero and we would honour him sometime in the near future. Rest in Peace, dear friend and thanks for your decades-long service to the development of Berbice Cricket. We shall miss you.
