NIS query and live chat working again

Dear Editor,

After SN published my letter ‘Queries for NIS, Live chat not working’  in yesterday’s edition I noticed that both the query and Live chat are now up and running. Thanks to SN for publishing the letter and for the NIS for responding promptly to fix both issues. I wonder if there are internal audits done at the NIS and what are their service level agreements. Did NIS know that the online queries was not working for a long time?

I also received a reply from the NIS to make contact with them and a phone number and email address was sent via email. I have sent numerous emails to NIS beginning in 2014 and never received a response. The only time NIS responded to my queries online was when my letter to the editor was published in the newspapers. I started the process to get my pension in 2014 and so far have been unsuccessful even after attaining the age of 60 last year. I am still in the line waiting, waiting, waiting.
