Eleven persons were arrested on Monday after they were found in possession of a gun and narcotics during a raid carried out by police ranks at Wismar, Linden.
According to a police report, acting on information received, police ranks conducted raids in the Wismar Station district in search of drugs, ammunition or anything illegal. The eleven persons are said to be from several homes where the raids were carried out.
A man and woman from the eleven arrested were detained for possession of narcotics after ranks discovered 11 grams of cannabis sativa.
The articles have been lodged and the suspects remain in custody pending investigations.
