A Linden man has been charged with the murder of Eon Williams, called ‘OJ,’ who was shot and killed in 2019, while with his girlfriend at Lover’s Lane Amelia’s Ward, Linden. Martin Fraser, of South Amelia’s Ward, Linden, was yesterday remanded to prison by Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan after he was arraigned.
He was not required to plead to the charge, which states that on September 28, 2019, at Amelia’s Ward, Linden, he murdered Eon Williams.
The matter was adjourned until August 30.
Williams and Melita Antigua, his girlfriend, had been in his car at Lover’s Lane, Amelia’s Ward, Linden, when gunmen in another car shot at them. While Williams was killed, Antigua was wounded in the attack.
A wanted bulletin had been issued for several persons, including Fraser.
