The accident occurred around 8.30pm.

The Guyana Police Force yesterday reported that Parmanand was driving PZZ 9593, which was proceeding east on the northern driving lane at a fast rate of speed, when it is alleged by him that the now deceased pedestrian walked from north to south into the path of his vehicle.
