Lethem Regional Hospital recommissioned

On Friday, Minister of Health, Dr Frank Anthony was joined by President Irfaan Ali, the British High Commissioner to Guyana, Jane Miller and Representative of the Pan-American Health Organisation (PAHO) in Guyana, Dr Luis Felipe Codina at the re-commissioning of the Lethem Regional Hospital in Region Nine (Upper Takutu-Upper Essequibo).

Kane ends goal drought as Spurs beat Newcastle

NEWCASTLE, England, (Reuters) – Harry Kane scored his first Premier League goal of the season as Tottenham Hotspur overcame Newcastle United 3-2 at St James’ Park yesterday to prolong the hosts’ winless run in a match that was briefly halted after a fan collapsed in the crowd.
