Police are probing the murder of a Venezuelan national, who was gunned down on Thursday night at Baramita, in Region One.
The dead man has been identified only as “Dorian.’
The shooting occurred around 19.55 hrs.
According to a police statement, preliminary enquiries revealed that residents of Return, Baramita, heard several suspected gunshots followed by screaming on Thursday night.
As a result, ranks of the Baramita Police Station were informed.
Upon their arrival at the scene, they found the body of the dead man with suspected gunshot wounds to his face, chest and back.
The body was escorted to the Baramita Health Center, where the deceased was officially pronounced dead.
