The Ministry of Health yesterday confirmed 66 new cases of COVID-19.
The new cases were confirmed by the ministry’s updated COVID-19 dashboard, after 1,372 more tests were done.
The new cases increased the country’s total number of cases to date to 38,817.
According to the statistics recorded on the dashboard, 21 new cases were recorded in Region Four, 16 cases in Region Six, 12 in Region 5, 6 in Region Nine, 5 in Region Three, 3 in Region Seven and 1 in Regions One, Two and Ten.
The dashboard also showed 11 persons in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 699 persons in home isolation, 43 persons in institutional isolation and 6 persons in institutional quarantine. The country’s total number of deaths remained 1,028.
