The politics of Guyana’s opposition is confusing

Dear Editor,

Apologies, but I am very confused by Guyana’s ‘politics’. The PNCR has firmly elected a leader who is not in Parliament and leading nothing there. The (appointed) ‘Leader of the Opposition’ is a former Intelligence supremo for the GDF. Precious little of that on display. The titular ‘leader’ of APNU is in Pearl seeking Wisdom… My old friend Khemraj Ramjattan is being, well, Khemraj! APNU is now but a paper construction. Mean-while, goal after open goal… Somebody help me, please! Yours (in brain fade).

Sincerely,
John ‘Bill Cotton/Reform’ Mair
