Ansa McAL Guyana and Hennessy will officially adopt the ‘Mecca’ of basketball in Guyana, the Burnham Court today, January 27th at the Middle Street venue from 19:00hrs.
The long term adoption of the iconic court has entailed the installation of new lights and the refurbishing of the officials’ tables, players areas and the patron stand.
Painting of the court’s tarmac and the establishment of a mobile VIP are also among the new developments.
The artistic painting of the court is in keeping with Hennessy’s global basketball initiative. Hennessy, the world most sold cognac, is the official spirit of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Attendees at today’s ceremony, will be refreshed by Hennessy and other Ansa McAL beverages and fingers foods.
