The Ministry of Health yesterday said that as of February 1st, 2022, five more persons who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have died. All five are from Region Four.
This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 1,176.

Meanwhile, the Ministry yesterday reported 276 new cases of the virus. Twelve persons are in the ICU.
