Fitness Express’ support for the sport of powerlifting continues.

 Recently, Jamie McDonald, CEO of the leading supplement and gym apparel supplier in the 592 handed over a financial pact of a substantial sum to be the main sponsor of the Novices/Juniors and Sub Juniors Championships.

 The event gets underway from 09:00hrs tomorrow at St Stanislaus College.

 McDonald, who has been a long standing benefactor of numerous disciplines, has once again decided to shoulder the corporate load of the strength sport.

 He presented a cheque to President of the powerlifting federation, Gordon Spencer who thanked McDonald for his continued show of support.

 As customary, the annual fixture will attract the cream of the nations’ juniors, teens and first time lifters looking to display their strength prowess.

 Trophies, medals and bragging rights will all be on the line as the eager athletes exhibit their strength in order to break records and earn titles.
