As is customary, Fitness Express has once again answered the call of the Guyana Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation Inc. (GBBFFI).
Recently, the owner of Guyana’s leading gym equipment and supplement supplier, Jamie McDonald, presented a sponsorship cheque to Organizing Secretary GBBFFI, Videsh Sookram.
The sponsorship will go towards the staging of this year’s Novices and Mr. Linden Bodybuilding Fitness Championships set for Lichas Hall, Saturday.
Showtime is scheduled for 18:00hrs and tickets cost $1500.
Following the handing over ceremony at Fitness Express’s Sheriff Street establishment, Sookram thanked McDonald for being a continued benefactor of the sport and some of its elite athletes.
McDonald stated that Fitness Express was proud to play his part in helping the community of hardworking athletes of the fitness fraternity.
The first bodybuilding and fitness competition for 2022 will be streamed live on all major social media platforms.
Rising from the ashes of the pandemic, this year’s event is to celebrate life, health and fitness whilst promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Sookram stated that all safety measures for those in attendance will be observed.
On the night of the competition there will be approximately 27 athletes competing in different segments of competition, Bodybuilding, Bikini, Men’s Physique, Wellness, Mr. Linden and Miss Best Legs.
