Fitness Express to sponsor Mr. Berbice b/building c/ships

Recently, owner of Guyana’s leading gym equipment and supplement supplier, Jamie McDonald presented a sponsorship cheque to Organizing Secretary of the GBBFFI, Videsh Sookram for the staging of the Mr Berbice bodybuilding championships.

As customary, Fitness Express has once again answered the call of the Guyana Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation Inc. (GBBFFI). 

Just recently, owner of Guyana’s leading gym equipment and supplement supplier, Jamie McDonald presented a sponsorship cheque to Organizing Secretary of the body, Videsh Sookram. 

The sponsorship will go towards the staging of this year’s Intermediate and Mr. Berbice Bodybuilding Fitness Championships set for the Berbice High School auditorium on Saturday.

Showtime is scheduled for 18:00hrs and tickets cost $1500 at the door.

Following the handing over ceremony at the Sheriff Street establishment, Sookram thanked McDonald for being a continued benefactor of the sport and some of its elite athletes. 

McDonald stated that Fitness Express, who had also sponsored the Novices event last month, is proud to play its part in helping the community of hardworking athletes of the fitness fraternity. 

The second bodybuilding and fitness competition for 2022 will be streamed live on all major social media platforms. 

Rising from the ashes of the pandemic, this year’s event is to celebrate life, health and fitness whilst promoting a healthy lifestyle and healthy living.

Sookram stated that all safety measures for those in attendance will be observed.

On the night of the competition there will be about 20 athletes competing in different segments of competition, Bodybuilding, Bikini, Men’s Physique, Mr. Berbice and Miss Best Legs.
