The Ministry of Health (MoH) on Saturday confirmed a new COVID-19 fatality, taking the country’s official death toll from the virus to 1,233.
The deceased was identified as a 66-year-old Region Four woman, who was unvaccinated.
Meanwhile, the MoH’s updated COVID-19 dashboard showed 44 new cases being confirmed from the results of 780 tests.
The dashboard also showed that there were 2 persons in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit, 21 persons in institutional isolation, and 576 persons in home isolation.
