The Ministry of Health yesterday announced one more COVID death.
The deceased is as a fully vaccinated male, 59, of Region Four, Demerara-Mahaica, who succumbed last Sunday.
The country’s death toll is now at 1,234.
In addition, 11 new COVID-19 cases were recorded. Region Two recorded 4 of those new cases, while Region Three registered 2 and Region Four accounted for 5.
Meanwhile, three persons are in the Intensive Care Unit, while 20 are in institutional isolation and 606 are in home isolation.
