Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU) Officers yesterday conducted an operation at Guinep Lane, East Ruimveldt, Georgetown which led to the discovery of a quantity of suspected narcotics and several types of ammunition.
Julian Aaron, 48, and Denese Aaron, 46, were arrested and escorted to CANU Headquarters with the suspected narcotics and ammunition. The narcotics tested positive for cannabis with a weight of 1.26 kg.
The ammunition discovered included:
• One .40mm round
• One hundred. 38 rounds
• Two .38 short rounds
• Twenty-seven 9mm rounds
• A total of 130 rounds
Investigations are ongoing.
