The Ministry of Health yesterday reported two more COVID-19 deaths. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 1,247.
The ministry said the latest deaths are of women. A 30-year-old unvaccinated woman from Region Three succumbed on June 18 and on the same day a fully-vaccinated 46-year-old Region Six woman passed away. She did not have a booster dose.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health’s dashboard yesterday reported 35 new cases of the virus. Two persons are in the ICU.
