The 49th edition of the highest Regional fitness championship is scheduled for July 27-August 1 and will be hosted at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre in St Michael.  Bess told this publication yesterday that he expects the athletes to return home with hardware since he is aware that they have their hard hats on putting in overtime in their respective gyms.

The federation’s head also stated that many Guyanese have signalled their intention of  travelling to support the team since it is around the same time as Crop Over.

Guyana is set to host the annual event in 2024.
