Dear Editor,
The exhortations and stirring pleadings of ‘we are ready’ to the visiting delegation from the Kingdom, urging them to walk the talk, saw us walking our talking by pledging land for their embassy. We are ready but it seems the Kingdom is not. It seems the visitors want special incentives and considerations before committing in meaningful and tangible ways, other than promising commitments. Not so, they are a partner and will be treated no differently from other partners and investors. Just how this will translate in investments in the future, only time will tell.
