Guyana’s Vieira finishes on podium in Canada

Guyanese speed demon, Elliot Vieira recently earned podium finishes in the  second round of the Liqui Moly Pro Sport Bike class of the Canadian Superbike Championship (CSBK), held at Calabogie Motorsports Park.

Vieira, having qualified third fastest, picked up the win in race one and third position in race two.

The most exciting race of the weekend was the two Liqui Moly PRO 600 race battle with Guyana’s Elliot Vieira and top Canadian riders Trevor Dion and David McKay.

In the previous round held at Grand Bend Motorplex, the young Vieira picked up solid finishes of second and fourth in the two races.

According to his proud father, Wayne Vieira, the next round moves to Nova Scotia as the battle continues with Elliot running second in the race series for the Canadian National Pro 600 CSBK series championship.

Vieira is a former Caribbean Champion, having won in 2015, and is pursuing academic studies in Mechanical Engineering at the prestigious Durham College in Ottawa.
