Georgetown Football Club (GFC), the Guyana Defence Force (GDF), and Santos recorded lopsided wins when the Georgetown Football Association (GFA) Senior Men’s League resumed at the National Track and Field Centre, Leonora.
GFC crushed GT Panthers 8-0. Ravi Coates crafted a hat-trick in the 39th, 67th and 72nd minute while Lavaughn Ennis added a double in the 12th and 27th minute. Assisting with goals in the 15th, 46th and 56th minute were Lennox Young, Kevin Baptiste and Rondel Peters respectively.
Likewise, GDF outflanked Eastveldt 6-0. Ryan Hackett tallied a double in the 27th and 37th minute whilst Benjamin Opara recorded a brace in the 17th and 59th minute. Adding goals in the 29th and 30th minute respectively were Kelsey Benjamin, and Runnell Gordon.
Similarly, Santos crushed Riddim Squad 4-1. Darren Niles netted a helmet-trick in the second, 23rd, 74th and 77th minute. For the losers, Kevin Gordon scored in the 50th minute.
