Black Pearl upset Elite League outfit Fruta Conquerors 1-0, when the Georgetown Football Association (GFA) Senior Men’s League continued yesterday at the National Training Centre, Providence.
Black Pearl secured the unlikely result over their seasoned foe compliments of a Shamar Koulem strike in the 27th minute. Meanwhile, Pele defeated Camptown 1-0. Julian Joseph netted in the 56th minute.
Also, Northern Rangers, and Eastveldt battled to a 1-1 stalemate. Keon Douglas handed Northern Rangers the initial lead in the eighth minute, only for Leslie Woolford to equalize in the 23rd minute.
