Three injured after Sparta collision

Three persons from Region Two are currently injured after they were involved in a vehicular collision that occurred on the Sparta Public Road, Essequibo Coast, Sunday night.

The accident, which occurred around 22:30 hours, involved the collision of three cars: PAB 3733, which was driven by John Murray, a fisherman of Better Success; PPP 5850, driven by Kelvin Hardial, and HD 1225, which was was driven by Kevin Lalbachan.

HD 1225 and and PAB 3733were proceeding north on the western driving lane of the Sparta Public Road, when the driver of PPP 5850 suddenly reversed out of the western edge of the road from a shop and caused a collision with the other two vehicles.

This newspaper understands that as a result of the collision PAB 3733 ended up into a trench on the western side of the road. 

The three drivers were assisted by residents and taken to the Suddie Public Hospital. Lalbachan received a laceration to his head while Hardial was treated for for lacerations to his right hand. They remain patients at the Suddie Public Hospital and are in a stable condition.
