A 35-year-old security officer was on Friday remanded to prison after he was charged with the murder of a man at Kaneville.
Marlon Hunte, of Kaneville, East Bank Demerara (EBD), appeared at the Diamond\Grove Magistrate’s Court before Principal Magistrate Judy Latchman.
The charge alleges that Hunte murdered 35-year-old Devon Small, of Lot 383 Matthew Street, Kaneville, EBD on Monday at Wrong Turn, Kaneville, EBD.
The indictable charge was read to Hunte and he was not required to plead. Bail was not granted and Hunte was remanded to prison.
The case was adjourned until October 11, 2022 for report.
