President Irfaan Ali yesterday met with the Minister of Energy Affairs of the State of Qatar and Managing Director and CEO of Qatar Energy, Saad bin Sherida Al-Kaabi, and his delegation at the Office of the President.
Discussions surrounded potential collaboration between the Governments of Guyana and Qatar in the areas of energy, food, infrastructure and aviation, a release from the Office of the President said.
Also present at the meeting were the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Corporation, Hugh Todd; the Minister of Natural Resources, Vickram Bharrat; the Minister of Public Works, Juan Edghill; the Minister with the Ministry of Public Works, Deodat Indar and Director of Projects at the Office of the President, Marcia-Nadir Sharma.
