Sri Lanka U19 female team defeated their West Indian counterparts by six wickets yesterday in the third match of their quadrangular T20 series in India.

Batting first at the Dr. Y.S Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam, the West Indies U19s scored 95-3 from their allotted 20 overs.

Wicketkeeper Shunelle Sawh was unbeaten on 35 and Jannillea Glasgow not out on 12 at the end.

Zaida James made 22, Trishan Holder, 12, and Djenaba Joseph 05.

Bowling for Sri Lanka Vihara Sewwandi took 2-20 and Vidushika Perera 1-17.

In reply Sri Lanka U19s reached 99-4 with wicketkeeper Nisansala Perera 33, the principal scorer.

Manudi Nanayakkara was unbeaten on 22 and Sewwandi not out on 10.

Kenika Cassar 1-23 and Ashmini Munisar 1-10, were the wicket-takers.
