Enterprise Primary, led by eventual Most Valuable Player (MVP) and Highest Goal Scorer (HGS) awardee, Jayshan Haynes, clinched their maiden Courts Pee Wee boys U11 Football Championship, defeating two-time winners St. Pius 2-1 yesterday at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.

Carlon Robinson handed St. Pius the lead in the 13th minute, rifling a shot into the left corner from the right side of the field. However, the lead proved to be short-lived as Haynes uncorked a strike from the halfway mark which sailed into the roof of the goal one minute later.

The win was then sealed compliments of another thunderous strike which Haynes blasted from 25 yards out into the lower right corner from a free-kick attempt.

Enterprise walked away with the championship playing kit, a 43-inch television, medals and trophy while St. Pius received a 40-inch television, silver medals and six balls.

Meanwhile, North Georgetown defeated Marian Academy 3-1 in the third place playoff. North Georgetown won a trophy, a 40-inch television and four balls while Marian Academy copped a 40-inch television, two balls and a trophy.
