Decorated bodybuilder, Kerwin Clarke, placed fourth in his pro debut while his local counterpart, Rawle Green, won his Master’s class when the World Natural Bodybuilding Federation (WNBF) staged its World Championship on Sunday in Los Angeles, California, USA.

According to Clarke, the results were not what he expected after rigorous comparisons with seasoned pros in the middleweight class, but he was nevertheless proud to once again represent the Golden Arrowhead on the international stage.

Clarke, a five-time Mr. Guyana and two-time CAC gold medalist, earned his pro card earlier this year and qualified for the Worlds. While he was gunning for gold, he is buoyed by the fact that he just missed the podium in his pro debut.

The 35-year-old stated that he will soon be back in the gym with his hard hat on preparing for the 2023 season.

He thanked sponsors, Fitness Express, Space Gym, Fitness 53, the GOA and others for making his sojourn possible.
