Hillside defeat Lack Ah Scene, Stabroek Ballers and Touches draw in maiden Streetball c/ship

Hillside defeated Lack Ah Scene, while Stabroek Ballers and Touches contested a high scoring draw, when the maiden edition of the Mocha Village ‘East Bank versus the Rest’ Streetball championship continued on Sunday at the Basketball Tarmac, Mocha.

Hillside edged Lack Ah Scene 1-0. Andrew Murray scored the lone goal of the cagey affair. On the other hand, Stabroek Ballers and Touches played to a 2-2 draw. Seon Taylor bagged a double for Stabroek Ballers while Devon Padmore netted a brace for Touches. Meanwhile, Agricola and Sparta Boss played to a scoreless affair

The event continues on Sunday at the same venue with another round of group stage matches. In the first match at 20.30 hours, Zessers will oppose Sparta Boss, whilst Ballers Empire will engage Back Circle at 21.15 hours, and Hill Side will meet Stabroek Ballers from 22.00 hours.

At 22.45 hours, Red Force will face-off against Agricola, with Lack Ah Scene tackling Touches from 23.30 hours, and Family taking aim at Unruly at 00.15 hours.
