Today, Guyana Revenue Authority officers along with Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU) officers while performing duties at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport, Timehri intercepted a male incoming passenger.
A subsequent search on his person led to the discovery of twelve rolled “joints” suspected to be cannabis.
Delroy Julius Seaforth,30 years, of New Jersey, United States of America was cautioned, arrested, and escorted to CANU’s Headquarters along with the suspected narcotic which tested positive for cannabis.
Investigations are ongoing.
