A Good Hope labourer on Wednesday appeared at the Cove and John Magistrates Court where he was charged with two counts of robbery under arms.
A police release stated that the 34-year-old labourer, Jerry Harshal, of 210 Good Hope Phase 2, East Coast Demerara, on Wednesday appeared before Magistrate Fabayo Azore where the two charges were read to him.
Harshal pleaded not guilty to both charges and was remanded to prison and the matter was adjourned to April 24.
