Entire country has high expectations of you

The Executive Committee of the Guyana Olympic Association (GOA) yesterday paid a courtesy call on Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, Charles Ramson Jnr., less than 24 hours after being elected.

Minister Ramson Jnr., met with the committee in the boardroom of his Main Street office and thanked the body for reaching out to him so early after being elected.

The Minster referred to Tuesday’s elections as `the dawn of new era’ and signalled his ministry’s commitment to working closely with and supporting the new body.

While congratulating the new executive, Ramson Jnr., said that the entire country has high expectations of those elected.
