Two boarding bridges inaugurated at CJIA

Minister of Public Works Juan Edghill yesterday commissioned two new boarding bridges at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA), Timehri.

According to the Department of Public Information, the public works minister said that the additional bridges are in line with government’s vision of transforming the CJIA into a hub of aviation activity.

The minister was joined by Minister within the Ministry of Public Works, Deodat Indar, Chairman of the CJIA board, Sanjeev Datadin and CEO, Ramesh Ghir.

Boarding bridges 5 and 6 were commissioned to accommodate codes D&E aircraft.
