Top cyclist, Paul DeNobrega returned to his winning ways on the saddle yesterday at the National Park.

The Team KFC Evolution standout won the 20-lap Alanzo Greaves Classic besting a quality field in perfect conditions for racing.

For the ‘crit’ event staged on the tree-lined circuit, DeNobrega stopped the clock in 46m:51.06s.

He led Arjune Sukhai and Paul Choowenam onto the podium while Trevis Cipriani, Jaikarran Sukhai and Nivonne Wilson completed the top six rewarding positions.

BMX

In the BMX category, Lennox Jackman who turned 11 on Saturday, triumphed in the one-lap event. He led Joshua Holder and William Greene into the top three.

For their exploits, the trio received kites ahead of the Easter weekend.

Greaves, a former prolific national rider has staged five events so far for the year. He stated that his intention is to host at least two events per month for the rest of the 2023 season.
